Slider Slide Show

I'm getting ready to put some items on Ebay. First up is this vase, a good test item. I've taken the photos with my Sony Cell Camera, edited and cropped with Elements, then used slide.com to upload and build my photo slide show. The skin is mine, Slide has an easy way for users to design their own.

Blog?

Who can Blog? Most Blogs are a kind of no brainer, single page website. Only simpler and any person can publish a Blog. You don't have to learn any special programs and you don't have to create graphics or layouts. In fact, a blogger doesn't even have to write their Blog, text and pictures can be clipped and pasted from some other Blog or online site. Not this blogger, of course!

What to Blog? Blogs fall into several categories so if you don't know what to Blog about, think about using Text, Photos, Video and Audio or a combination of all four. What to Blog? Tell your story, enhance your collection, distribute your point of view, brag over your vacation or say, "Hi" to friends and family. It's the Blogger thing to do.

Viewers, aka "Joe Public", are sometimes puzzled about what their role is. "Comments" as seen on this Blog, are invitations for viewers to add their two bits worth. Of course Blog owners sometimes edit out "Comments" even though solicited which is a good reason for a viewer to start their own Blog. Viewers also have the choice to Subscribe to a Blog. Sort of like an online Magazine subscription, only freer.

Where do Blogs start?

Wordpress

Livejournal

Xanga

Go ahead, they're free.

Dallas Cowboys Stadium

I took three pictures with my cell phone and combined them in PS Elements for this panoramic shot. Not exactly perfect, but pretty good. The Sony camera view screen is totally washed out in bright sunlight rendering the panoramic feature useless.

What they didn't tell you. The all new Dallas Cowboy Stadium has it's own Wal-Mart SuperCenter. Or, Wal-Mart has a very Super-SuperCenter!

I used the perspective tool and feathered a mask around the sign before giving it a good highlighting.

COWBOY's Stadium Drive By

Here I am Buzzing through Arlington, driving north on Collins / 157. The new stadium is an awesome sight. I captured this shot through the windshield at 30mpg. The image needed a little cropping and a lot of enhancement in PhotoShop Elements.

Reunion Tower is CLOSED for a remodel

I had an hour wait for the next West Bound Train so Ichecked out the Tunnel Walkway from the Train Platform to the Reunion Plaza. Except for the low ceilings down there, it was nice enough.

A bird was flying around inside.

For GODS SAKE! Let us in.

These guys always want on the other side of that door! I texted this picture, but hey, half my kids didn't get it.

Dora told me they don't have fancy modern laundry in Cisco. Just old, old fashion machines there....

I looked around the Luck Laundry in Euless with a new found appreciation. "You don't know what you've got till it's gone."

Click on the pictures, they are bigger.

Just Me Checking out Dallas this month

Yes, that's a fake picture. I take the train.

I found a downtown Supermarket that reminds me of an Urban Central Market.
It has a restaurant and a very nice BAR. Yep, when you're walking home with the
groceries, nobody cares if you're sloshed.

So here I am; having lunch and sight seeing in the cool air conditioning.
